In addition to the important work of the Association that we will engage in during the business sessions on Saturday afternoon, Monday morning and afternoon, and Tuesday morning and afternoon; we are excited to share the following annual meeting schedule highlights:
Saturday:
Morning devotions (every day). This year we are replacing the Congregational
Lecture with a Congregational Drama (or perhaps a “dramedy”).
You won’t want to miss it. Following the presentation will be a
Delegates’ Reception, including an Ice Cream Social.
Sunday:
Communion Service at the hotel. Workshops in the afternoon, incorporating
three opportunities to attend, instead of the usual two. We are
trying to offer a hands-on missions experience right in the hotel during
this time as well.
For dinner we will travel out to beautiful
Minnehaha Park for a picnic (paid for by the churches of the MN Fellowship)
and some music. Back at the hotel, there will be a healing
service offered at 9 p.m.
Monday:
Various special breakfasts and luncheons. In the evening, Meet and Greet Gatherings
for DFM/CFTS, Missionary Society, and Women in Ministry.
Jam Session in the Ballroom with Elliot Wimbush and Friends (all are welcome to participate).
Tuesday:
Closing banquet and worship at Colonial Church in Edina, with transportation paid for by the MN Fellowship.
MEALS: (tentative plan)
Breakfast – available for purchase
from the hotel, or bring/find your own.
Lunch – paid for on the meal plan
available for purchase with registration.
Supper – Saturday you are on your
own (many places to choose from at the nearby Mall of America.
Sunday picnic is a gift from the MN Fellowship to our guests.
Monday you are on your own. Tuesday’s banquet will either be an additional
paid option on your registration form or will be sponsored (as yet undetermined).
